Gone Girl: A Novel

Gone Girl: A Novel - Gillian Flynn So maybe it didn't end quite as one would expect. I thought in all, it was really clever with excellent characters. I think the one element that is difficult to jive is how Nick gives in to the idea of Amy bringing out his better self. That just didn't seem to mesh with his earlier feelings and weaknesses very well. I think about sociopathy often, and Amy is one of the most interesting characters I've read in a while. If all criminals were that smart, the world would be a frightening place.
