Lady Chatterley's Lover

Lady Chatterley's Lover - D.H. Lawrence Really, a very tender and beautiful love story. I'm not a subscriber to its philosophy, but I think that it is very true to itself and quite interesting. There is nothing overtly lurid in its sexuality; compared to today's use of sex in stories, it is extremely tasteful - even soulful. My one issue is the declamatory style of third person omniscient narration. The narrator imposes a bit too many ideas into the story, bordering on lecture.
